Hmm, I didn’t really plan to review three products by Magic Eyes all in a row, but I also didn’t expect an emergency root canal and crown dental work in my gob last week either. So hey, why not keep with the combined theme of ‘teeth’ and ‘fucked’.

It’s okay though, because this one’s a looooong overdue revision to one of my favorite blowjob onaholes ever, The Mouth of Truth (ie; La Bocca Della Verita).

So Magic Eyes’ original The Mouth of Truth onahole came out five years ago and was a massive success for the company. It featured a level of detail never seen in a handheld oral toy, and the industry certainly took note. Even Tamatoys straight up bootlegged the design at one point. Basically it was very nice.

But despite my endless love for it – as one of my first reviews! – and the fact that it’s still a best seller, The Mouth of Truth has always been a tough one to recommend due to its extreme stimulation.

Equipped with hard plastic teeth and a tight tunnel textured like a fucking corrugated iron shed in a decompression chamber, the end result was borderline death for those who don’t like their dicks being put through a meat grinder.

I’ve… I’ve worn out three of them over the years. It’s a wonder how my penis feels anything at all anymore.

Fast forward to 2017 and wow, Magic Eyes finally went ahead and released The Mouth of Truth: Soft Edition. As the name somewhat implies, it’s made of much softer material than before. Same size, same everything – just a lot more floppy.

The Mouth of Truth: Soft Edition looks just as good as the original in terms of detail, and the fluffy new material has no smell or oily residue to it. Good-o.

First up, the teeth are definitely a bit easier than before, but still provide a sharp twinge as they scrape over your head and shaft. I’ll never get tired of how exciting it looks to see the mouth being crushed into itself when you first enter, only for the lips to pop back out over your shaft. It’s the quickest shift between ‘oh no’ and ‘oh phew’ ever.

Pushing through the tongue and roof of the mouth is when it becomes clear how different this feels to the original model. Instead of a harsh rub holding you tightly into place, The Mouth of Truth: Soft Edition offers a more… um, sloppy experience, I guess?

It’s much smoother to glide between and somehow does a brilliant job distributing whatever amount of lube you coated the lips with. No complaints here.

The second half (or the ‘Lies’ part according to Magic Eyes) simulates the throat, and boy do you fucking feel it. There’s a very noticeable notch you squeeze through, causing the entire onahole to judder and maybe even crumple in your hand every single stroke. Really seems like you’ve entered a forbidden zone.

This part was a distinct dead-end on the original, but here the squishy rubber actually adds to the deep throat effect. There’s a sense that your head is kinda jammed right down there, and you can keep thrusting into it like a mushy lasagna in the middle of a nice Italian restaurant. La Bocca Della Verita, you know?

A side effect of softer material means you might find yourself bulging out of the side of the onahole (see uuuuh, one of the videos at the end of the review for an example), however this can usually be fixed with a quick wiggle of your cock and/or the rubber mouth engulfing it.

Overall I’m very impressed with The Mouth of Truth: Soft Edition. It’s even managed to break the bad run I’ve had with Magic Eyes onaholes going to shit after a few days; the material still looks fine. Hopefully I haven’t cursed it now.

Personally I still prefer the original model, but I think this one feels (and sounds) a tad more authentic. You can make a real sloppy mess here, and I suppose it’s only limited to how much lube you’re willing to pour in upon each use.

But yeah, The Mouth of Truth: Soft Edition is very nice. A change in material has led to something fairly different from the original – maybe even for the better. It’s a nice squishy mess of tight throat goodness.

My main concern is that the teeth may still be too overwhelming for those of you with sensitive heads. If anything the contrast is even greater here. I mean, I’m not exactly the best to judge here, but even I found myself surprised by them scraping down my shaft after getting lost in the mushy end zone, and I’d probably bang a bag of broken glass given the chance.
