Japanese retailer ecchiTOKYO shutting down

It’s the shittiest bundle of words I need to tag as ‘news’ before hitting submit on a new post, but ecchiTOKYO has suddenly announced they’ll be shutting down next week, December 9th.

The Tokyo-based retailer originally launched in 2021 as a joint venture between three leading onahole manufacturers – PxPxP, G-Project and EXE – to act as an ‘official’ store aimed at the Western import market.

Admittedly this limited their stock quite considerably and their prices… honestly kinda sucked compared to the competition, but for a long time there they offered free worldwide express shipping once you hit the $100 USD mark to help even things out. They also covered import duties for countries that could slug customers with extra fees which was really, really nice.

Combined with their genuinely incredible Black Friday sales in 2022 and 2023 where they’d clear out discontinued onaholes for as little as two bloody dollars, it’s probably no surprise ecchiTOKYO couldn’t really keep going.

And yeah, not only did they drop the free shipping earlier this year, but I guess this explains their disappointing Black Friday sale the other week. :'( RIP guys. I’ll never forget grabbing like 12 onaholes with DHL shipping included for $150 AUD back in 2022. Insane stuff.

While the store itself closes on December 9th, ecchiTOKYO will still be offering customer support until December 28th via email (ecchitokyo@lingble.com)
