New Japanese retailer AkibaFarm opens

It’s been a loooong time since a new onahole retailer joined the lucrative cum-covered import scene, but now the Japanese site AkibaFarm have seen a surprise launch.

With their main office based in Akihabara itself (hence the name, because Akihabara is a bit of a farm at times), these guys already have an enormous range of adult goods in stock. There’s literally over a thousand onaholes listed and probably the most absurd lube selection I’ve ever seen.

Their mascot is pretty cute too!

At a glance, the site is well designed and easy to browse. Their prices also seem really solid, with most products a tad cheaper than the competition. I would have liked to put in a test order before writing this up but the Australian dollar is currently worth less than a bag of wet Monopoly money, so that’ll have to wait.

But yeah, I think the bigger hook here is that they’re also putting a big focus on other things – like art books, doujinshi, prize machine figures and food. Seems like they’ll be making an effort to stock merch from the JUMP Shop too.

They’ve even got snacks from Family Mart and 7-Eleven, what the hell.

Oh yeah, they do worldwide shipping and you can request to have the packaging removed. Payment methods seem limited to VISA, MasterCard and JCB though?

Always a bit of a gamble when I cover a new store launching (memories of places like MyOnahole and Love Merci AU shutting down like six months later), but everything looks promising here. Hopefully it all works out.

Best of luck, AkibaFarm!

  1. Lets see how they will hold up. With myonahole and the recent silence again that seems to come from otona sekai, I am getting very careful with new retailers. Queencat in the US also closed, seems a tuff business with onaholes. Make me worried to try new shops.

  2. All these japanese based shops just claims they have the best prices and then usually jack up the shipping price. You know who I am talking about…….jp.com. Pass!

    • Shipping prices can easily checked by ourself at Japan Post website for example. Sadly shipping from Japan is expensive, much more than from Europe (where I live for example). So who overcharges or not, can easily be realised. This is not any shops fault I guess but I agree that high shipping is not a nice thing. My favorite is otonajp as they offer the most options, letting me choose which shipping to take depending on how much i am willing to pay. And for us from Europe, ordering from Japan or from the US for example (toydemon) makes no difference….in fact Japan is still the cheaper option then.

      • From what I have heard/read, you’d be lucky if they actually respond to you when you are having issues with your order like wanting to cancel (Just check the bad reviews on trustpilot and some private discord channels.) But hey, it’s your money, don’t let me tell you how to lose it. I would rather give Akiba Farm a shot.

        • Tanks for caring but I am their customer pretty much since they started and never had a single problem with 20+ orders. I think people like to focus on any voice that complains rather than the voices that are having good to say. But if you can show me one online retailer that has no complaints online from anyone, I am all for it. Checking on their Trustpilot as you recommended also shows me 400+ Perfect Reviews among a few bad ones. So I guess the picture is clear.

  4. Just got an order form akibafarm. They declared full value and mentioned what was inside the package with full name descriptions (sex toys). Thank you for nothing akibassholes and thank you for ignoring my privacy. Funnily when i contacted them about it they ignored my email it seems, when before purchase every mail was answered in 24 hours.

    • Yeah, it’s the same IP address for the majority of comments here. This always happens whenever I post about new stores opening. Might just close the comment section for this post.

I’ve already lost AkibaFarm as a sponsor after just a few weeks anyway, so you’ve won. Congrats. :’)

  6. their payment provider is shit. I think its the same otonajp used a while ago and they suck. This was the reason for me to actually not buy there. While they have this easytrans or whatever they called service, akibafarm is a big no for me.

  7. Got problems with them. Ordered from them and they refuse to ship my order without a phone number. Other shops in Japan never had a problem with it and now they are holding my order without any reason. Also I discovered they are mailing from a Korean mail program (saw the korean in the reply). Not to be weird but Chinese and Korean have a history of selling Bootleg stuff and this makes me worried to be honest. Maybe this is why they are so cheap for some stuff. If you dont believe me, check it out yourself. I am not any shops fanboy, just pointing out facts.
